Tabby and white domestic shorthair, male neuter, born approximately March, 2010.
Marty was found living under a house with a small dog companion. He braved those conditions for almost four months before he was rescued by a good Samaritan. Unfortunately, he was separated from his canine companion, who went to a dog rescue organization. Felines & Friends heard of his plight – his rescuer was unable to keep him because her apartment did not allow pets. She took wonderful care of him and then found us to help him find a permanent home.
Marty is so incredibly affectionate. For a kitty that was abandoned and had to scrounge and beg for his living, he is amazingly trusting and caring. He will crawl into your lap, push his head into your hand and rub and rub! He is one-in-a-million! They just don’t make them like him very often! He doesn’t mind other cats and, obviously, gets along well with dogs!
